Historical Landscape of Shrinking Civic Space in West Africa

From Anti-Colonial Activism to Activism 2.0

About

This book details the historical context of social justice advocacy
in West Africa, with spotlight on Nigeria, in an attempt to
foreground the challenges to socio-politics within the corridor
from colonial times to digital activism. It adopts a holistic approach
of citing case studies covering Anglophone, Francophone
and Lusophone contexts; so as to bridge the existing divide of
isolated scholarship efforts that have their audience geography
defined by language.
